Welcome to Education for Sustainability (E4S) at Northwest State Community College. Working closely with the student group (S4S), E4S consists of dedicated faculty, administrators and staff providing sustainability education for households, businesses and communities across the Maumee Valley region of rural northwest Ohio. Working from our main campus in Archbold, we design projects and initiatives to maximize the integration of campus operations, curriculum and community outreach. Projects and programs currently underway include: recycling, composting, native landscaping, organic gardening, various curricular and co-curricular initiatives and community partnerships around food issues.
