Applications are being accepted for a part-time Office Secretary – Community and Workforce Development - Custom Training Solution, Main Campus. The Office Secretary reports to the VP of Workforce Development. Normal hours will be approximately 20 hours per week and are dependent on volume of IBEW or other agency training.
In accordance with the School Support Personnel Agreement, this position is in Class 5 of the Support Personnel Salary Schedule with step position dependent upon past experience and educational level; hourly pay range $9.90-$11.38 per hour.

| Part-Time Instructors - Arts & Sciences |
Northwest State Community College is accepting applications for qualified, caring, and student success centered, part-time instructors for Fall 2010 and future semesters. NSCC offers day, evening, and/or weekend classes in Archbold and the surrounding area. The Fall Semester begins August 25. Instructors are needed in the following areas: composition (developmental and college-level), reading, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, mathematics (developmental and college-level), psychology, and political science. A bachelor’s degree plus 18 graduate credit hours in the content area is required; master’s degree is preferred.

| Database Applications Trainers/Developers |
Northwest State is seeking part-time trainers and curriculum developers for an accelerated training program in the field of database applications. Applicants must be at the expert level in any of the following topic areas: Sharepoint, Crystal Reports, client/server technology, form & report development, SQL/Oracle databases, .Net and Java programming, and ERP systems (PeopleSoft or SAP). Instructional design and teaching experience is a must. Development of Online (self-paced) web courses is a plus. The training center for this program will be located in the Bryan/Archbold area of NW Ohio.

| Full-time Faculty– Composition |
Responsible for classroom instruction and will provide leadership in the development, assessment, and evaluation of curriculum in existing courses, new courses, and related programs. They will actively participate in student advising, department meetings and college committees. This is a full time 9 month faculty position. Minimum of a Master’s degree in English or related field; teaching experience preferred. Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Educational theory or techniques; Statewide transfer and articulation policies; Lead development of new courses; Assess and plan courses. Salary range is $38,210 (Master’s Step 0) - $52,748 (PhD step 10); based on education and experience.
